Data removal

Squarely builds B2B sales intelligence from public sources — company registers and information businesses publish about themselves. If your work-related information appears in our data, you can ask us to remove it. We’ll suppress your record and stop it being collected again. You don’t need an account, and there’s no charge.

You can ask us to:

  • remove the information we hold about you;
  • tell you what we hold about you and where each piece came from;
  • correct anything that’s wrong;
  • stop processing your information, without removing it, while a question is resolved.

These are your rights under the UK GDPR. Our privacy notice explains what we hold and why.

Email privacy@squarely.cloud with the details below. That’s it — there’s no form to print, no account needed, and no charge.

If you’re asking on someone else’s behalf, tell us your relationship to them and confirm you have their authority.

  • Your work email address — this is how we locate your record.
  • Your full name — helps us find every record that relates to you.
  • Your company, if you’re comfortable sharing it — the same name can appear at more than one company, and this makes sure we find the right records.
  • Anything else that helps us identify your data.

We use these details only to find and act on your records, and we don’t add anything you send us to our data.

  • We search our data for records matching the details you gave us.
  • We remove the values we hold and record that the removal happened.
  • We add a minimal, hashed identifier to a permanent suppression list, so our systems recognise you and skip you in any future collection.
  • We confirm by email once it’s done.

We will acknowledge your request within 30 days, and in most cases complete it much sooner. If anything about your request is unclear, we’ll come back to you rather than guess.

See our privacy notice for what we hold, where it comes from, and why. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
